Promac High Heat: Heat & corrosion protection

  • Promac High Heat is an excellent two-in-one primer and topcoat for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This product is designed for application in high heat areas such as braais and fireplaces. It contains a chromate-based corrosion inhibitor, thus providing anti-corrosion properties.

  • Promac High Heat will cover approximately 6 – 9 m²/ℓ per coat depending on the application method and the surface porosity.

  • Promac High Heat is intended for use on bare metal surfaces after suitable preparation. Apply two to three coats of Promac High Heat by brush, roller or spray and allow for 4 hours drying time between coats. Allow the full application to cure for 7 days before high heat exposure.

    After 7 days and before the first use, ensure to obtain full cure by heating up to 200ºC for 30 minutes. Promac High Heat may emit a slight odour during its first exposure to high temperatures.

  • Do not allow the product to dry on equipment. Clean all tools (brushes, rollers & spray equipment) while wet with lacquer thinners.
