When David Storey said, “Have confidence that if you have done the little thing well, you can do the bigger thing well too,” he could have been referring to Vaughan Prost and Stephen Reinecke, who founded Promac Paints in 1992. Armed with experience in the paint raw material industry and quality assurance, production and planning respectively, the two life long friends saw the opportunity, in a highly fragmented paint industry, to establish, not only a brand, but also a philosophy – to provide quality paints at affordable prices.
